Bio / Information

Robert Cable is relatively new to natural history photography. He has only been photographing the outdoors and nature for the last eight years, although always having an interest in photography and the natural world. Whether it be a day hike, backpacking, or a trip out to the western United States the camera usually goes along to capture what he encounters. Some of his interest in nature photography stems from wanting people to see what is in this world to conserve and protect, “From the smallest plant, to national parks and wilderness, it all deserves protection and our respect”.

Robert's images and articles are published in both national and local publications such as magazines, calendars, post cards, and on the internet.  He is also represented by Getty Images, Digital Vision, Natural Selection Stock Photography and other stock agencies.

All of the images on this site were photographed  and scanned by Robert. The only digital modifications made to the images are: Sharpening the scans and  brightness and color adjustments to match what is on the light table. Robert does not believe in doing a whole lot more than that to an image and when changes are made it will be noted on the images.
